Who can buy from Med Technologies?
We sell business-to-business only: hospitals, private clinics, cath labs, surgical centres, laboratories, medical device distributors and procurement agencies. We do not sell to private individuals.
Are the products new and original?
Yes. Every device is new, unused, in the original manufacturer packaging with intact seals, lot/batch number and expiry date. We do not sell refurbished, re-sterilised or grey-channel goods.
Are the devices CE-marked and MDR-compliant?
All products carry CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745) or the transitional MDD provisions, and are sourced through authorised European channels. Declarations of conformity and IFUs are available on request.
Is parallel import of medical devices legal in the EU?
Yes. Under the EU principle of free movement of goods, CE-marked medical devices placed on the market in one member state may be distributed in another. Med Technologies operates as a registered distributor and keeps full traceability of every lot in line with MDR Article 14 obligations.
What is the minimum order?
There is no fixed minimum. Most references are sold by the manufacturer box (e.g. 5 or 10 units for guidewires, 12 or 36 for sutures). Single units are possible for high-value devices such as stents, closure devices and endoscopes.
How fast can you deliver?
Items in our Bucharest warehouse ship within 1–2 working days. Items sourced on order typically ship in 5–15 working days depending on manufacturer availability. We quote lead time per line item before you confirm.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship across Europe and to customers in Asia, Africa and the Americas. Export documentation, temperature-controlled packaging and customs paperwork are handled by our logistics team. Incoterms are agreed per order (usually EXW Bucharest, DAP or CPT).
What documents come with an order?
Commercial invoice, packing list with lot numbers and expiry dates, CE Declaration of Conformity on request, and the manufacturer IFU. For tenders we can provide manufacturer authorisation letters where the brand supports it.
What are the payment terms?
Standard terms are prepayment or bank transfer on pro-forma invoice for new customers; net 30 is available for established hospital and distributor accounts. We invoice in EUR, USD or RON.
Can you source a reference that is not on the website?
Usually yes. The catalogue shows our core range; our sourcing network covers most interventional, surgical and endoscopy brands. Send the reference number and quantity and we will quote within one working day.
Do you offer kits or procedure sets?
Yes. We assemble custom procedure sets combining several references from different manufacturers into one item, packed and invoiced as a single SKU — common for cath-lab access kits and surgical trays.
