Magmaris is a sirolimus-eluting resorbable magnesium scaffold: the magnesium alloy backbone is absorbed within about 12 months and converted to amorphous calcium phosphate, restoring vessel vasomotion without a permanent implant. It targets younger patients and simple de-novo lesions where leaving no metal behind is valued. Strut thickness 150 µm, tantalum radiopaque markers at both ends, rapid-exchange delivery, 0.014″ guidewire, 6F guide compatible. Follow the Magmaris implantation protocol (4P: patient selection, proper sizing, pre-dilatation, post-dilatation).
