Microvention MicroPlex (bare platinum) and HydroCoil (hydrogel-coated) detachable coils are used for endovascular occlusion of intracranial aneurysms. HyperSoft and HydroSoft grades are designed for finishing and dome packing; HydroFrame and complex shapes for framing. The hydrogel expands after placement to increase packing density and reduce recurrence (HELPS, MAPS trials). V-Trak delivery, compatible with 0.017″ microcatheters.
